We just bought our limited elantra and have had it for about a week. So far we have been impressed with it so far and hope it will hold up long term. Our first hyundai so we took a leap of faith in the brand as their products are starting to be class leading. Still concerned about ivt transmission and if it will last. Will follow up with a long term review at 6 months Pros +Design is fresh, +Interior layout feels elegant and also makes sens, +Tech works the way it should, +Everything inside fits together we'll, +Good headlights, +Simple controls, + Big back seat, + Front seat has ample legroom ever for people over 6 feet, + Good visibility, ........... Cons Some interior plastics should be better even for this class. Arm rest do not have padding or very little. This can be fixed with minimal cost by hyundai. . For a limited model no memory seats or ventilated seats. Only offered on the hybrid limited model. not sure why limited models get different equipment. Highway bumps are well absorbed but the noise can get tiresome. Digital key does not work as well as advertised. We still can't get 2 people set up even after calling bluelink support. No full screen android auto. Defeats the big screen.

I, purchased this car new. I, liked it at first until now. It has nothing but continuous mechanical and other things going wrong. Not a good car what's so ever. Typical Hyundai junk!!!

The style of the front seats since 2011 is extremely uncomfortable and the 2021 continues to use that style of seat. Due to the lower height of the car it is not as easy to get in and out of. The only way to have any power in acceleration is using sport mode and it resets to the default every time the car is turned off, so I have to remember to turn it on every time. It feels like they tried to make it sportier, but it failed. We had bought our previous Elantras as family cars due to the affordability over larger sedans and I don't feel like this delivers as a small family car. If I wanted a sports car I would have bought one. Additionally, exactly 1 month after I drove it off the lot, my windshield cracked. I had not incurred any damage (rock. etc) to the windshield while driving and it had less than 900 miles on it. I came out of work after it had been sitting in the sun one hot day to it cracked half way across the width of the car on the driver's side in the sight line of the driver. Due to the technology on this car, the process of getting a new windshield is more involved and it has to go into the shop, they are not able to come out to you and replace it.
